How to transfer downloaded files (MP3 download and video download) to your iOS device using iTunes from your computer. Please view or download image below to see referenced icons.
Windows Computers
- Download the files to your computer.
- Connect your iOS device to your computer with the white USB charging cable.
- Open iTunes on your desktop if it doesn’t automatically open. Download and install iTunes if you don't have it.
- Update iTunes if needed and reboot computer.
- Make sure you unlock your phone and authorize the computer as needed to connect to your device.
- Check to make sure that the device has connected to iTunes. You should see an icon of your device in the upper left corner and you should see your device (A ) listed on the left side of the application. (Click View on image below to see a screenshot)
- Click File >> Add File to Library (C).
- Locate the file on your computer, click on the file, and click Open.
- If adding MP3 download files:
- From the dropdown menu select Music. (B. Drop Down)
- Click on Songs (located under Library in left column).
- Find the course name (listed as a song).
- Left click once to highlight the course (it turns blue).
- Right click >> Add to Device
- Click on your iOS Device.
- The course will be added as a song.
- Open your Music app to find it.
- If adding video downloads files:
- From the dropdown menu select Movies. (B. Dropdown)
- Click on Home Videos (located under Library in left column).
- Find the course (listed under Home Videos).
- Left click once to highlight the course (it turns blue).
- Right Click >> Add to Device
- Click on your iOS Device to add it.
- The course will be added as a Home Video.
- Open the TV app.
- Click on Library >> Home Videos to find it.
Apple Computers
- Download the files to your computer.
- Connect your iOS device to your computer with the white USB charging cable.
- Open iTunes on your desktop if it doesn’t automatically open. Download and install iTunes if you don't have it.
- Update iTunes if needed and reboot computer.

- Check to make sure that the device has connected to iTunes. You should see your device listed under Devices on the left side of iTunes.
- Check to see if iTunes added the file for you. It may have added it automatically.
- If not, click FIle >> Add File to Library (C).
- Locate the file, click it once, and click Open.

- Click on Songs (located under Library in left column).
- Find the course name (listed as a song).
- Left click once to highlight the course (it turns blue).
- Right click >> Add to Device
- Click on your iOS Device.
- The course will be added as a song.
- Open your Music app to find it.
- If adding video downloads files:
- From the dropdown menu select Movies. (B. Dropdown)
- Click on Home Videos (located under Library in left column).
- Find the course (listed under Home Videos).
- Left click once to highlight the course (it turns blue).
- Right Click >> Add to Device
- Click on your iOS Device to add it.
- The course will be added as a Home Video.
- Open the TV app.
- Click on Library >> Home Videos to find it.
